Something About Me

Surprise Birthday Party for my 60th BDay

Energy, positivity, determination, volunteerism, early rising, working hard, project completing, clean living, spiritual and joyful are a few words that describe how I live my life. From 1999 to 2017 I held different positions on the Executive Board for the Festivalof Trees, a charity for Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City that serves 6 states.  I owned a business in two different locations for a total of 30 years (Advanced Electrolysis), I sold it and retired so my husband and I could serve a mission for our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) in New Zealand for 18 months. We digitized probate records that are now on FamilySearch and I had the wonderful opportunities to speak at Genealogical Guilds in the South Island of New Zealand.

There are many, many more things but I mention these just to develop a base level of my usual activity. We have 6 grown children, a fleet of grandchildren, some of whom are young adults and then a large troupe of wee ones. My life is richly full of people I love. Life has so very much to offer and I’ve always been the one to take it on with a huge slice of fun.

We have saved, been careful with our spending and invested so we would have a comfortable retirement. Our thoughts have always been of travel and serving missions for our church with a generous sprinkling of spoiling grandchildren for our retirement. This is my life in a nutshell until RP. I am Debbie Edward.
